Purchase of a permanent cosmetic procedure includes a touch-up visit typically scheduled between 6 weeks and 3 months after the initial procedure. Everyone's skin is different and color theory is not an exact science. Often, during the initial healing process, the combination of the desired pigment and a client's skin tone can produce a result that is a slightly warmer or cooler shade than expected. Differences in depth of skin may result in areas healing with little or no color after the first application. The included touch-up visit ensures that any concerns are addressed. Most permanent cosmetic clinics do not include the touch-up visit with the price of the initial procedure, offering lower-cost services and a discounted price for the touch-up. At Tusa Bella, we don't believe our work is done until you are satisfied with the results.

 

Topical anesthetics are applied prior to and during the procedure to minimize discomfort. The initial pass, before the skin is broken, may be slightly uncomfortable. Once the anesthetic has an opportunity to pentrate more deeply, dicomfort is greatly reduced or eliminated. In areas with greater blood flow, particularly the lips, anesthetic effectiveness is reduced.
